Files icon row
When one or more files/folders are being selected via a check box on the beginning of their listing then a row of icons will appear.
The functions available will be applied to all selected files. This feature is available in the Admin file listing and in the search result screen.
Selecting files and folders
Clicking on a single check box will toggle the selection state of that file or folder.
Select all
Outside the root folder the select all allows the selection of all files in a folder or search result screen.
Clicking on select all twice will deselect all files.
Select ranges of files
You can select a range of files by the following method:
1) click on the first file of the range 2) hold the shift key and 3) click on the last file to be selected
All items between the first and second click will be selected.
Icons and their functionality
Hovering over icons in the files icon row will reveal a brief explanation of the functionality.
reset expiration
Clicking this icon will reset the expiration of all selected files to none. The files will never expire. See Expiring_media for details.
fix quick start
This will bring up a srceen that allows the quick start attribute for all selected clips to be fixed. See Quick_start_fix for details.

reveal/ hide
This pair of buttons controls the visibility of the selected files / folders in the client view. See Hide for details.

prevent / enable download
This pair of buttons controls the ability to download a given file in the client interface. See Disable_downloads#File_based for details.
copy
This button will bring up the copy destination screen. Once a destination is being chosen all files that were selected will be copied into the new folder. See copy for details.
move
The move function works similar to the copy, with the non-surprising difference that the file or folder will not longer be in its original position before the move command.

set / clear archive flag
With the archive flag a file can be made resistant against deletions. See archive flag for details.
add tags
A tag can contain information that guides during search or quickReel creation. The entered tag will be assigned to all selected files. See tag for details.
set new thumbnail
You can set the icon for multiples clips like this. You will have to enter the time. See Icon for details.
You can for instance update all icons in a folder to have rounded corners.
upload thumbnail
With the upload thumbnail function you can assisgn an icon to all selected files and folders.
Custom folder icons are one possible application of this feature.
edit attributes
The edit attributes will bring up a variation of the Edit_title function.
With multiple files selected this screen will show the different values that the selected files use. If the values are the same then it is in the edit field.
If the values are different then the field is empty. If you leave the field empty then no values will be changed for this attribute.
This screen allows powerful ways to update many files with one screen.

reset copy generation
Each copy of a file will increase the copy generation file count. This function allows to reset this counter. See Copied_files#Copy_generation for details.
force aspect ratio to 16x9
This function will set the aspect ratio to each selected file to 16x9 by adjusting the width of the file.
A screen with the changes that would be made precedes the actual change of the X values.
send download link email
A download link email contains links to all files selected. See Download_link_email for details.
This gives you similar functionality like yousendit or similar systems for your INTERDUBS content.
export to other INTERDUBS segment
If your company collaborates with another company that also uses INTERDUBS then you can copy files directly into their INTERDUBS segment.
No need for them to down and then upload those files again. See Transfer_between_segments for details.
copy to other data center
INTERDUBS runs on multiple data centers to offer best performance regardless of the client location.
You can copy files between data centers via the Transfer_between_datacenters function.
copy into quickReel source area
You can load existing clips into the quickReel SOURCE area with this function. In quickReel you can then assemble those clips, together with others, into a new reel.
copy into quickReel target area
All clips selected will be put into the quickReel target strip on the right. Essentially you enter quickReel with clips already in the reel section. Of course you can alter the order etc before you save it as a new reel.
delete
Clicking on the skull and crossbones will delete the file[s] and folder[s] that have been selected.
