client comments

Clients can leave comments for clips that they watched. They can do so when they played the clips with the play option called play (not play in page).

Frame or entire clip

They have the choice to make a comment against the current frame when the clip is in the quicktime format. This result in a link that will bring people back to the point in the movie that they made the comment about.

Private or public

They also can make the comment private by choosing the Don't display comment here option. They still can see the comments though, since they can also delete them.

Client identification

Clients are identified by browser cookies right now. They can enter their name, but don't have to. Interdubs will remember their name against this cookie, and in the future they will not have to enter their name again. Their name will also be used in the logs.

Email notification

Clients will see which email address is configured for the login they use. Comments are stored against a file, not a login though. Comments will result in the creation of an comment email.

If you go to Edit file you can see and delete comments for a specific file. See Edit_file#comment_edit
