Quicktime

Interdubs can host many file types but in the case of quicktime it does support a couple of additional features. This corresponds with the fact that more than 90% of all files in Interdubs are quicktime files.

Interdubs will detect a quicktime file by it's extension. Similar to other clip formats in interdubs the resolution will be detected as well as the run length of the file. The length will be only used for display purposes. It can be slightly off, since it gets calculated via the number of sample and sampling rate. The resolution will be used also during display. You can alter this value with the edit file icon. When you change the resolution values then Interdubs will display the clip at this resolution.

If you set the disable download configuration for a login then Interdubs will switch to Quicktimes Kiosk mode to prevent downloads.

Quicktimes in Interdubs can have comments set against a specific time of the clip. See comments for details.

Interdubs will check right after the upload if the movie header is misplaced and would prevent the movie from start playing as soon as possible (progressive download).
