Use
You can enable Client ratings on your page via the
client ratings
configuration. Choose one of the four options. If you pages do not show client ratings after you selected one, then please send us the link so that we can update your page design for you. Of course you can do so yourself as well. Please see below for more information.
Client Ratings
You can clients give you specific feedback about your content via the add comments function.
Sometimes a client would like to share quick information about many items. INTERDUBS client ratings allow your collaborators to give you feedback on files with a simple click.
Currently there are four different modes that you can choose from via a configuration variable. Like any other configuration variable you can set this for your segment a specific look or any given login. If you select one of the choices and no client rating shows up on your client pages then this probably means that you configuration is missing the IDXHTML_CRATING keyword. This usually goes into the HTML line for each file configuration. We are more than happy to assist you with setting this up.
These 4 possible choices you have are:
2 choices: approve/reject
Each file presents your user with two possible options:
reject
approve
When a client opens a page all files that have not received feedback will be displayed grayed out. Existing feedback will be displayed by the appropriate icon being highlighted. This behavior is similar for all modes except the poll one described below.
4 choices: approve/thumb up/thumb down/reject
This mode allows two 'softer choices' aside from the reject and approve one:

thumb up
If your collaboration requires more subtle feedback then this extended mode can come in handy.
rate 1 - 5 stars - value stays
If you like to allow your clients to rate your content then you can do so. The system will offer the usual 5 stars that people can choose from. If no rating happened the 0 stars will be displayed:

5 stars
poll 1 - 5 stars - no value each page load
The poll mode also offers five choices:
The difference is that the last / current rating is not being displayed. The results of such a poll can be looked up in the admin interface. Please get in touch for details.
Admin interface
Edit client client rating
In the admin interface the last client rating for a file will be displayed next to the file title. If you click on this rating you get to the edit client rating screen. This screen allows you to change the current rating for the specific file.
Client rating log
On top of the utilities page you find a link to recent client ratings. All client ratings that happened on your pages are listed here.
