logins manage the access that clients have to your content.

files are stored in a tree like structure.

A login usually points to a folder. When you follow the default then the add client login dialog creates a folder with the same name as the login and connects the login to this folder:

(login:example1) -> [folder:example1]

When the client logs int to the login (example1) then he will see the contents of the folder [example1].

Having logins and folders separate from each other allows for great flexibility.

You can have two or more logins point to the same folder:

(login:example1) -> [folder:example1] <- (login:example100)

A login can override any configuration. You could have one login that allows uploads and another that does not.

When you un-check the selection to create and assign a folder during the login creation then you can connect any folder to the login. Either do so by clicking on the icon or go to edit folder.

In any folder you can add an additional client access point via the add login function.
