Sort order
The order in that files and folder appear in a client page be important to your presentation.
You can control this via the
reorder
function. You can either arrange the files manually into the desired order, or you can choose from the following
alphabetical (folders first) alphabetical newer first older first arranged order
This will affect the way your client pages will show the files in that folder. The order of files in the admin interface is independent from this. You can control it by clicking on the corresponding column header in the file listing for that folder. See Admin_file_listing for details.
Default client view
The configuration default client sort order controls how client pages will be displayed when no specific order has been via the before mentioned function.
alphabetical (folders first)
This setting is usually the default. It shows folders first and the files. Both groups are sorted alphabetical.
alphabetical
Sorts all files and folder alphabetical in one group.
newer first
New files or or folders will be listed first
older first
Files and folder will be listed chronoligical
arranged order
This will show files in the order that you have manually created via the
function.
pro sort order
If you like to have very fine control then you can enable the feature pro sort order in your personal preferences.
