INTERDUBS can play movies in a couple ways in the client interface. Which player will be used can be controlled via the web playback configuration.

Play in Page

When INTERDUBS plays a clip in the page it simply opens a layer over the navigation screen and plays the movie there. The advantage is that the movie simply needs to be closed to get back to the navigaton screen. The downsider however is that play-in-page-events do not appear in the log that is accessible in the admin interface.

Play with Comments

Interdubs can play the clip on its own page. If configured accordingly comments can be left. The client has the choice to leave a comment against a specific point in time of the clip or for he entire piece. In the former case an icon will be created and the time will be displayed as a link that will jump to the specific frame.

The format of the time can be controlled with the qtimetype, qtimeprec and qtimeoffset configuration variables.

Play in Reel mode

When a clip gets played in the reel mode then they will be played one after the after.
