Encryption

By default internet pages are not encrypted when they travel from the server to your browser. This traffic could be captured by a third party. The biggest thread are public Wifi hotspots.

INTERDUBS can use encryption between the server and client. All links that are being encrypted start with

https

instead of the normal

http

Modern browsers will often emphasize the difference visual of secure https connections to give the user more awareness.

You enable encryption in INTERDUBS via a configuration setting.
