Email Distribution

In some cases you might like to write one email for multiple logins.

Purpose

Imagine you have many logins that point to the same folder. An example would for instance be a digital dailies situation. You like to share sensitive assets with a fixed number of collaborators.

You can do this by setting up a login for each person. The log files and client pages will be uniquely identify the person that accesses the content.

Setup

In order for email distribution to work you have to assign an email address as the recipient. This is not to be confused with the admin / sender that is configured for each login.

You can assign the recipient either via the login name or if you like to use that for other purposes via the internal login note

In both cases you need to enter the email address only in its simple form (like support@interdubs.com) No other information can be part of either the login name or the internal note.

Usage

You find the email distribution function either on the login screen after you selected one or more logins, or if you have more than two logins pointing to a folder it is also reachable via the mail etc. screen. In the later case you also have to select the logins you like to send the distribution for.

The actual email flow is similar to that of the normal email function. Some more keywords will still appear in their IDX... form since INTERDUBS will only be able to fill them out when it creates the individual emails.

The system will create separate emails for each login in the email distribution list and will log access etc accordingly.
