Rep mode

The INTERDUBS Rep Mode allows you to share a specific part of your INTERDUBS files with a rep. The interface of the Rep mode is highly simplified and allows basically making and sending reels.

Features an Admin as a Rep can use

Making reels
Edit own reels
Sending reels (email bundles or normal)
Using company reels by copying them to a personal reel
Looking at visitor logs for created reels
 

A rep user has to use a configured look.

She/He will use her/his own address book (that will be the same in all INTERDUBS segments)

If a home folder gets set then the Rep admin will only see clips out of that folder and below when creating reels.

Admin interface in Rep Mode

As a non rep admin you can switch yourself in and out of the rep admin look via the personal preferences screen. This is helpful since you get an idea what your Reps will be looking at.

An admin that is set up as a rep user can not do this. She / He sees only the rep admin interface.

As a root admin you can manage other admins under utilities via the manage admin sign-ins screen.

A Rep admin will be indicated via the icon.

Rep settings

In the manage admin sign-ins screen you edit existing admins or add a new admin and set him / her to be as a rep user via the

admin has to use Rep admin interface

checkbox.

Select look to allow reel creation

If you like your rep to be able to create new reels then you need to select a look for him / her. This look will be used for all reels he / she creates.

Restrict data via home folders

The default is that your rep can search all the data that you have access to. You can restrict this by setting a home folder for a rep. Follow these simple steps to do so:

1) create rep admin user
2) navigate to the folder you like to set as his/her home folder
3) select the  edit folder function
4) select the   set folder for other users function.
5) select the rep from list of users on the next screen. 

Now he / she can only see files in this home folder and any folder within this folder.

Add access to other folders

If you like to give your rep (and other admins) selective access to other folders in INTERDUBS then you can do this via a similar method:

1) navigate to the folder you like to set as his/her home folder
2) select the  add this folder to quickReel sources function
3) select add folder as source for   everybody

Your rep will now find this folder in the top right of the quickReel screen.

Get copied on all emails sent

If you like then you can get a copy of each email that your rep sends out. Go to edit / add and enter your email under email to be copied on all emails sent (BCC) for the rep user you like to read along

Address book

The rep will only have access to email address in his / her personal address book. The advantage for a rep is that they can have their personal address book available in whichever INTERDUBS segment they are working.

And you don't need to worry that your rep gains access to your email addresses stored in INTERDUBS.
