Meta Data
INTERDUBS can associate additional information and data on various levels of the system. This page tries to give you a brief overview of the possibilities of meta data in INTERDUBS.
Meta Data for a File
Title
The title is what people see when they look at the file. It can contain any characters like * " etc.
You can also populate this field via the Ftp#meta_data as idx_title
ISCI Code
Commercials that air in the US have an ISCI code associated with them. This field allows you to enter this this code that then will be displayed on your client page. The position and style of the ICSI code display is being controlled via a configuration and can be changed from the default if you like.
date
The date of the file has been created. The display of the can been formatted in any way you desire. Either for your entire segment for specific looks or even different logins or reels. You can also set a timezone that should be applied to the actual file modifcation date.
expiration
Files can have, like logins, an expiration date set. See Expiring_media
size
the size of the file in bytes
length as text
The Length of a clip as a text. This is formatted nicely for display based on your configuration desires. You can freely edit this so that a 61.4 second long clip still gets displayed as 1:00.
length as numbers
The length of a clip in seconds. With fractions. This is what the system uses when it needs to operate on the clip.
archive flag
A flag that prevents deletion of a file.
note
The note is meant for additional information that the client can see.
You can also populate this field via the Ftp#meta_data as idx_note
Comments
Clients can leave comments for a file. Either for the entire clip or for a specific poit in time.
tags
You can add as many tags as you like to your clips. This facilitates the creation of reels. Tag all your clips thematically and making a reel becomes even easier.

credits

access information
When a file gets accessed then INTERDUBS logs this access that you can review in the log function.
