Email Groups
If you email a group of people repeatedly then you can set up an email group.
All email addresses in an email group can be added as email recipients by clicking on the
email-group-name
button on the first email screen under the
email group
heading.
Creating a new email group
You create a new email group in the
address book
screen that you can find under the utilities tab.
Start by selecting emails that should become part of the new group with the check boxes in front of them.
Then click on the
add to group ...
icon that appeared when you selected the first email.
On the next screen you can create a new group by giving it a name and clicking on
ASSIGN emails to group
Adding emails to existing group
Add emails to an existing group by selecting them, click on
add to group ...
but then select an existing group fro the selection box.
Editing groups
In the top of the address book screen you find the
groups
screen. When you click on is you will see a list of all existing email groups.
Buy clicking on the
edit group
icon in front of the name you enter a screen that lets you change the name or lets you remove individual emails from that email group.
The
delete group
button will remove the email group. Emails contained in the group will remain in the system.
Via the
delete group and all its members
you can remove the group and also delete the emails that are contained within the. Please use this function caution: emails will be removed, regardless if they are in other groups etc.
