INTERDUBS displays a colored dot in the visitor log for some entries.
Colors
Each visitor receives a unique randomly assigned ID. These are indicated by the color of the dot.
The color itself has no meaning.
Colors allow it to easily find visits from one person.
Cookies
INTERDUBS associates visitors via cookies. On the first visit a person receives a cookie. This cookie is being sent on all consecutive visits by the web browser.
That's why the first visit does not have a colored dot.
It is a possible that a person removes all cookies or does not allow their use. This will not interfere with INTERDUBS' functionality, but cookie color tracking is not possible
