INTERDUBS displays a colored circle in the visitor log that indicates the visitor cookie.

The color itself has no meaning.

The purpose for these dots is it to quickly indicate if different visitors have looked at a page.

When a client forwards an email to somebody else then that person will inherit the email track of the first recipient, unless they use the forward feature on client page.

No system in the world could magically alter the email that is already on the clients computer.

With the colored cookie dots you can detect with one glimpse how many different people watched your content.

The colors itself are chosen randomly. Accidental overlaps (2 people getting the same color) are unlikely, but not 100% impossible. The color for 1 person will remain the same across all logs.
